DQR Management
The Data Quality Report (DQR) provides details of data quality errors/issues present in the statements submitted by the Reporting Entity. It serves as a tool for identifying and rectifying errors in the submitted data. Two types of DQRs are generated after statement submission:
Types of DQRs
- Statement DQR: Contains details of data quality errors specific to individual statements.
- Consolidated Defect DQR: Provides a consolidated view of data quality errors across multiple statements.
Importance of DQR
- Accuracy: Helps ensure the accuracy of submitted reports by identifying data quality errors that require correction.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, as Reporting Entities are mandated to file accurate reports in prescribed formats.
- Penalty Avoidance: Failure to comply with reporting requirements may attract penalties, making accurate reporting crucial.
DQR Management Process
-
Download DQR: Users access the Reporting Portal to download the DQR containing error/exception details.
-
Upload and Correct: The downloaded DQR and the statement to be corrected are uploaded to the Report Generation Utility. Users then proceed to fix the identified errors.
